Not long ago, I was out of shape, exhausted, and stuck in a loop of bad habits.
I’ve come to call it the Flywheel to Nowhere:
Early mornings felt impossible.
Work drained me.
And I wasn’t the dad I wanted to be.
But that version of me is gone.
Today marks 534 days sober.
No alcohol. More energy. More presence.
Here’s what helped me get here — no fluff, just what worked:
𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆
No one changes in isolation.
I needed people in my corner to challenge me, hold me accountable, and remind me who I could become.
𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴
I dove into books that re-wired my habits and beliefs.
Two that made a massive impact:
→ “Atomic Habits” by James Clear
→ “The Everyday Hero Manifesto” by Robin Sharma
(and most recently “The 5 Types of Wealth” by Sahil Bloom)
𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿
Game changer. Having someone guide my workouts, push me, and keep me consistent was worth every penny. It’s a cheat code for results.
𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴
I ditched the food delivery apps and started using Hello Fresh. Now I enjoy cooking — and feel way better fueling my body with real food.
𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴
My calendar became my lifeline.
If it wasn’t scheduled, it didn’t happen.
Blocking time for workouts, self-care, even downtime, made everything feel more doable.
None of this happened overnight.
But it started with a decision:
I’m capable of more. My kids deserve more.
And so do you.
If you’re a dad who’s feeling stuck — tired, stressed, and pulled in every direction — come hear my story and how I help guys just like you.
